Assam NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria
- The application seekers should have qualified for the NEET Entrance Examination.
- Aspirants must have the domicile of Assam.
- The applying seekers must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English are the compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks. 40% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates, and 45% for Physically Handicap candidates.
- Age Criteria: The candidate should have completed 17 years as of 31-12-2024.
The candidates born on or after 02-01-2004 are not eligible for
admission into MBBS and BDS Courses.

Assam NEET Counselling 2024 Procedure (State Quota)
- Assam NEET counselling will be conducted online, with two rounds of counselling.
- According to the part of the DME Assam MBBS counselling, students must qualify for NEET.
- The DME, Assam, will issue a merit list with the selected applicants’ names based on their NEET 2024 scores.
- Eligible applicants must fill out and submit the Assam MBBS application form soon, in 2024.
NOTE: Only candidates with their names on the list will be eligible for counselling.

Assam NEET UG Counselling Process
- Assam NEET (MBBS & BDS) 2024 counselling will be conducted online in two rounds, and to be a part of the DME Assam counselling, candidates must qualify NEET 2024 exam.
- The merit list will be published by the DME, Assam, with the selected applicants’ names based on their NEET 2024 scores.
- It would be best to remember that only applicants with their names on the list will be eligible for the Assam NEET Counselling process.
- Eligible applicants must fill out and submit the Assam NEET application form 2024 before the late date.
- To attend the Assam NEET counselling, the candidate must report to the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Six Miles, Khanapara, Guwahati-22. Candidates must bring the documents listed below, original and a self-attested copy, to the counselling venue.
Assam NEET Counselling 2024 Process (AIQ Quota)
Candidates applying for Medical & Dental Colleges in Assam must register for NEET counselling 2024. Counselling of NEET 2024 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. Assam NEET UG Counselling 2024 will consist of these steps.
- Candidate Registration: Register on the official website.
- Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and lock in the online portal’s preferences.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online based on available vacancies and candidate’s choices.
- Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round must either reject the assigned seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
- New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.
- Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): This is similar to Round 1.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to Round 1.
- Reporting to college (Round 2): Here, it is noted that those allotted a seat in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) will not be permitted to vacate their seat orders made by the Supreme Court of India.
Documents Required
Candidates allotted a seat in Assam NEET Counselling will be asked to report the following documents to complete the admission formalities.
- NEET 2024 admit card

- Class 10 pass certificate/Date of birth certificate
- Class 12 or equivalent examination mark sheet
- Transfer Certificate issued from the last attended institute
- Pass certificate from Class 6 to Class 12
- Permanent caste certificate, if necessary
- Aadhaar Card
- Minority certificate, if applicable
- Candidates who have studied outside Andhra Pradesh must show the resident certificate stating that s/he has been residing in the state for 10 years.

- Undertaking signed by the parents and candidates that document about caste and area in original.
