CAT 2022: Common Admission Test (CAT Exam) is a computer-based MBA entrance test for admissions into the IIMs and several other prestigious B-Schools. Approximately more than 2.3 lakh students annually register for the CAT exam for IIM admissions. CAT exam is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in the country. CAT 2022 will be conducted for MBA/ PGDM admissions at 20 IIMs and 1000+ B-Schools in India. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) will start the CAT exam 2022 registration on August 3, 2022, and will continue until September 3, 2022. To fill out the CAT 2022 application form, candidates must pay the CAT exam registration fee of Rs 2,200 for the General/ Unreserved category and Rs 1,100 for SC/ ST/ OBC and other reserved categories (as per last year). Those with a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA will be eligible to fill out the CAT 2022 registration form.

IIM Bangalore is expected to be the conducting body of the CAT entrance exam this year. CAT exam 2022 will likely be conducted on the last Sunday of November 2022, i.e. November 27, in three different slots. CAT 2022 Registration Process

The registration process for CAT 2022 will take place from the first week of August on the IIM CAT exam official website, iimcat.ac.in. Registration form for CAT exam 2022 will only be available in online mode. Students must initially create a CAT 2022 login and fill in details in the application form of CAT 2022. How to Fill the CAT Application Form 2022?

1. First, go to the official website of CAT 2022 and find and click the “New Candidate Registration” link on the right side of the webpage.
2. The CAT registration page opens. Then enter details like the Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Email Address, Country, Mobile Number, and Captcha.
3. Next, click the “Generate OTP” button to receive the registered mobile. Using the OTP, log in to the CAT 2022 application page.
4. In the CAT exam 2022 dashboard, fill in the Personal Details, Other Personal Details, Communication Address, Emergency Contact Details, Upload Documents (in a prescribed format and size), Work Experience, IIM Programmes & Interview Cities.

CAT 2022 Exam Pattern

IIM is not officially announcing the CAT exam pattern and syllabus for every year CAT exam. Candidates have to prepare for CAT as per the previous trends. According to CAT 2022 question paper, there were 66 questions asked in the CAT exam. There will be 24, 20, and 22 questions in VARC, DILR, and QA. PwD category students will receive 53 minutes and 20 seconds to complete a specific section of the CAT exam, while other students will receive 40 minutes per section. The duration of the CAT exam was 2 hours (120 minutes).

CAT 2022 Admit Card

CAT conducting body will release the admit card of IIMCAT 2022 probably in the last week of October. The later date to download CAT admit card 2022 on the official website will be November 27, 2022. CAT 2022 admit card can be availed after entering the CAT login ID and password.

CAT 2022 Result

IIM will probably declare the CAT 2022 result in the first week of January. To download CAT 2022 scorecard, candidates have to log in and enter their CAT login credentials like CAT Registration ID and Password on the official CAT website, iimcat.ac.in.
