The National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2022 examination. NEET UG 2022 will be held on Sunday, July 17. As per the latest updates, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 notification on the official website of the exam – neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET-UG 2022 Registration started on April 6, 2022. The candidates will also get a five-day NEET 2022 correction window opened in mid-May.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NEET for MBBS, BDS AYUSH, and veterinary and nursing courses; the NEET-UG is conducted offline, which means pen and paper. How to Apply to NEET UG 2022?

• Visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in
• Click on the tab “NEET UG” visible on your screen.
• Click on the “New Registration” Link mentioned in the Important Link section.
• The screen of guidelines will appear. Read and follow carefully.
• Enter your credentials and upload all the necessary documents.
• After filling in all the details, save and proceed to the Payment option.
• You have successfully registered after making payment through net banking/credit/ debit card.
• Download your form for future use.

NEET UG 2022 Application Fees (Category-wise)

Counselling for 15% All India Quota

• The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, will hold the Counselling for 15% of All India Quota Seats.
• All deemed central state universities will participate in Online Counselling.
• Seats of ESIC and AFMC, BHU & AMU will also be filled in this Counselling.
• Candidates will apply for 15% All India Quota seats as per the directions of DGHS, and Counselling will be stopped soon as the seats are filled.
• Through this Counselling, candidates can enrol in any of India’s medical colleges.
• Those candidates who participate in All India Counselling can also join in State Counselling of their respective states.

NEET UG 2022 Some Changes

These are some changes the authority will implement for NEET-UG 2022 entrance exam:

The upper age limit removed	NMC has scrapped the upper age limit for NEET 2022 aspirants. Previously the upper age limit for unreserved category candidates was 25 years, and that of reserved candidates was 30 years.
Application form of NEET 2022 confirmation page on Digilocker	The confirmation page of NEET-UG 2022 will soon be available on Digilocker. It can be accessed from the Digilocker app and website digilocker.gov.in. Students have to sign up and use the Digilocker application.
Changes in the exam pattern of NEET-UG 2022	They are expected to be conducted with a new exam pattern this year. The paper is predicted to be separated into two sections comprising 35 compulsory questions in the first section and 15 questions in the second section, out of which candidates have to attempt any 10, and all the questions will have multiple choice.
Medical Colleges Fees Structure	Same fees on 50% seats of Private colleges: The government has taken another big decision according to which private colleges will have to charge 50% of their seats according to the government fee structure. It will benefit many poor students to get private college facilities while paying government fees.

NEET UG 2022 Important Instruction for Candidates

• Candidates can apply for NEET (UG) – 2022 through the “Online” mode only through the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/
• The Online Application Form submission may be made by accessing the NTA website, and the Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
• Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
• Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
• Candidates must ensure that their e-mail address and Mobile Number are provided online.
• Application Forms are their own or Parents/Guardians only. NTA will send all information/ communication through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
