NEET PG 2022: Admit Card (Out), Exam Date, Syllabus, Patterns & More!

NEET PG 2022: The exam will be held as per the schedule on May 21 in computer-based mode. The exam will begin at 9:00 am and conclude at 12: 30 pm on the said date. NBE has already announced date for NEET PG 2022 admit card upload. According to the schedule, NEET PG 2022 Admit Card will be released on May 16. Candidates will have to download the admit card for NEET PG 2022 from the official website, nbe.edu.in.

Only registered candidates will be able to download the hall ticket. Candidates need login ID/Application ID and password to download NEET PG 2022 admit card which comprises personal details of candidates and other important information related to exam such as name and address of the exam centre.

Latest Updates: According to the Recent Updates, the National Board of Examination (NBE) will be conducting NEET PG 2022 Exam today i.e. 21st May 2022.

Earlier on April 30, a meeting was held regarding postponment of NEET PG 2022 exam date. In the meeting it was decisded that NEET PG 2022 exam will be conducted as per the schedule. The decision was taken amid students’ demand to defer the exam as it overlaps with the counselling.

NEET PG 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for the exam or who wish to participate in the counselling process must check the eligibility criteria before applying for it. NBE releases NEET PG eligiblity criteria along with the information brochure. NEET PG eligibility criteria have been summarised below:

  • Aspirants must possess an MBBS degree/provisional Pass Certificate which is recognised as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 
  • They should also possess a permanent/ provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council
  • They must have completed the duration of their internship on or before July 31, 2022

NEET PG 2022 Application Process

NEET PG 2022 application process invloves steps such as registration, filling up details in application form, paying exam fee, and uploading documents. The application process starts with registration. Only those candidates who register themselves on the official website of NBE, nbe.edu.in will be able to submit application form for NEET PG 2022. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

A login ID and password will be generated after successful NEET PG registration process. NBE released NEET PG application form 2022 on January 15. To complete the application process, candidates had to upload scanned copies of photographs and signatures. They had to pay a non-refundable application fee to complete NEET PG applications 2022. The deadline to submit application form for the exam was March 25.

NEET PG 2022 Admit Card

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) release the NEET PG Admit Card 2022. Candidates who will appear in the NEET PG will be able to download the NEET PG 2022 Hall ticket on the official website, i.e. nbe.edu.in, and print it to carry it to the examination centre day. The NEET PG 2022 admit card will be released online. NBE issue admit card to candidates who register successfully for the exam. Candidates will have to download NEET PG admit card 2022 from the official website. Candidates are advised to check all the information carefully after downloading the hall ticket from the official website of NBE.

Candidates must print a copy of the admit card and affix a latest passport size photograph on it. The admit card should be preserved until the admission process gets over. Specifications of the photograph are as under:

Photograph Specifications:-

  1. A photograph of a minimum of 35 mm x 45 mm with at least 75 per cent coverage of the face & head of the candidate
  2. A caption with the name of the aspirant along with the date of taking photograph at the bottom of the photo
  3. The photograph should have been taken in a white /very light-coloured background
  4. The photograph needs to be printed on high-quality paper with at least 600 dpi resolutions
  5. The colours must possess the natural appearance and skin tone
  6. The photograph must not have kinks, scratches, and stains
  7. Photograph with reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes should be avoided

  • Visit the official website (nbe.edu.in)
  • On the homepage, click on the NEET PG tab and click on ‘Candidate Login.’
  • Enter your login details, as asked.
  • Your NEET PG Admit Card 2022 will be displayed on your screen.
  • Download and print a copy for future references.

NBE Important Instruction for the NEET PG 2022 Admit Card

All applicants for NEET-PG 2022 are, at this moment, cautioned that:

  • NBEMS does not send any email or SMS to candidates regarding securing good marks/merit positions in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS. Candidates are advised not to be allured or misled by unscrupulous agents /touts making false and bogus claims.
  • NBEMS does not make any phone calls to any candidate or issue any communication regarding any unfair assistance during the exam in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS or any other such thing against the provisions of law.

NEET PG 2022 Admit Card NBE Guidelines

Candidates are advised to familiarise themselves with the location of the test centre and plan travel time accordingly. Candidates have to reach the test centres on or before the reporting time. Candidates may note that late entry to the examination premises is not permitted. NBEMS shall not be responsible for any delayed arrival of the candidate in reaching the centre due to any reason.

NEET PG 2022 Syllabus

TNEET PG 2022 syllabus is based on the curriculum taught during the MBBS. The syllabus includes key topics of the three sections of the question paper, section A (clinical), Section B (pre-clinical), and Section C (para-clinical) subjects.These three sections contain questions from the topics such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic medicine, and Social and Preventive medicine.

NEET PG 2022 Pattern

Candidates need to know NEET PG 2022 exam pattern as it helps candidates in preparation. The exam pattern for NEET PG 2022 comprises details about the test paper, comprising the mode, medium, number of the question paper, duration of time, and the marking scheme. NEET PG 2022 will be held in online mode. The question paper will have 200 multiple choice questions, and candidates will be given 3.5 hours to answer them. There will be a provision of the negative marking in the exam. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks and for an incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.

NEET PG 2022 Cutoff

NEET PG 2022 cutoff, the minimum qualifying percentile will be released by NBE. The minimum qualifying percentile for general candidates is 50th, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40th percentile. Various factors decide the NEET PG cutoff 2022 including the number of candidates who appeared for the exam, availability of total seats, difficulty level of NEET PG and others.
