Kolkata: The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of West Bengal, has issued an urgent notice announcing that the WB NEET UG 2025 Medical and Dental counselling and admission process has been temporarily stopped, until further orders.

The notification, released from Swasthya Bhavan, Kolkata, clarified that all activities related to the counselling and admission of NEET UG candidates in the state are currently suspended. Candidates and stakeholders are advised to wait for the next official update before proceeding with any admission-related steps.

The Director of Medical Education further emphasized that this decision is effective immediately and remains valid until a fresh directive is issued. Students and parents are urged to regularly check the official website of the Directorate of Medical Education, West Bengal, for further announcements.
