AP NEET UG PwBD & CAP Final Eligibility List Released
Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, has released two important updates for candidates participating in Competent Authority Quota (CQ) counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions for the academic year 2026–27.
The updates include an addendum to the PwBD eligible/not eligible list and the priority-wise final list of eligible and not eligible candidates under the Children of Armed Forces Personnel (CAP) category.
PwBD Category: One Additional Candidate Declared Eligible
NTRUHS has issued an addendum to the Eligible/Not Eligible Candidates list under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category, which was originally published on 22 August 2026.
The addendum, signed by the Registrar on 25 August 2026, declares one additional candidate eligible under the PwBD category.

Final CAP Category Eligibility List Released
Along with the PwBD addendum, NTRUHS has published the priority-wise final list of eligible and not eligible candidates under the CAP category for MBBS and BDS Competent Authority Quota admissions.
The list has been issued based on the assessment conducted by the Director, Department of Sainik Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh, following examination of grievances submitted by candidates.

CAP List Contains 486 Candidates
The final CAP category list contains 486 candidate entries and provides details such as:
- NEET Rank and Score
- Registration ID
- NEET Roll Number
- Candidate Name
- Gender
- Category
- Area
- CAP Priority from I to VIII
- Eligibility Status
- Remarks, wherever applicable
Candidates have been classified as either Eligible or Not Eligible, with reasons provided in the remarks column for candidates who do not meet the prescribed requirements.
Reasons for CAP Ineligibility
According to the list, candidates have been marked Not Eligible for various reasons, including:
- Candidates belonging to Para Military Forces, including BSF, CRPF, ITBP, GREF and CISF, where applicable under the CAP criteria.
- Wards of Ex-servicemen from other states who are not eligible under the Andhra Pradesh CAP category as per G.O. MS No. 59 dated 16 May 2018, Home Services-IV Department.
- Candidates belonging to other states or other-state serving personnel.
- Candidates who failed to submit the required supporting documents.
Candidates Advised to Check Their Status
Candidates who applied under the PwBD or CAP category for AP NEET UG 2026 MBBS/BDS Competent Authority Quota counselling should carefully check the respective lists.
CAP candidates should particularly verify their NEET rank, category, area, priority, eligibility status and remarks. Candidates who find any discrepancy should contact the concerned authority as per the instructions issued by NTRUHS.
The latest updates are important for candidates as the eligibility and priority status will be considered during the AP NEET UG 2026 CQ counselling process.
