Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Revised MBBS Seat Matrix Released
Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTR UHS), Vijayawada, has released the revised seat matrix for MBBS admissions for the academic year 2026–27. The updated seat matrix has been issued for candidates participating in the ongoing 1st Round of AP NEET UG 2026 online counselling.
The revised matrix provides college-wise details of MBBS seats under different areas and quota categories, including State-Wide (SWI), Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) Area, Andhra University (AU) Area and Minority institutions.
Candidates participating in AP NEET UG Counselling 2026 are advised to check the revised seat matrix carefully before finalising or reviewing their choices.
Key Details
The revised seat matrix includes detailed information on seats available across various reservation and special categories. The distribution includes:
- Open Category (OC) – General and Female
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST)
- BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D and BC-E
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
- Persons with Disability (PH)
- NCC and CAP categories
- Sports & Games
- Anglo-Indian category
- Local (L) and Unreserved/Non-Local (UR) seats

Colleges Covered Under the Revised Matrix
The revised seat matrix covers medical colleges falling under the SVU and AU areas, along with institutions under the State-Wide and Minority categories.
SVU Area
The SVU area includes government medical colleges such as ACSR Medical College, Nellore, Government Medical College, Anantapur, Government Medical College, Kadapa, Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati and Government Medical College, Kurnool.
Several private medical institutions are also included in the matrix, such as Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences, GEMS, NRI Medical College, Narayana Medical College, Santhiram Medical College and PES Institute, among others.
AU Area
The AU area includes government institutions such as Government Medical College, Vizianagaram; Government Medical College, Guntur; Government Medical College, Srikakulam, Government Medical College, Eluru, Government Medical College, Ongole, Government Medical College, Paderu, Government Medical College, Rajahmundry and Government Medical College, Visakhapatnam, among others.
Private institutions covered include GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences, GSL Medical College, Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences, Maharajah's Institute of Medical Sciences, NRI Medical College and PSIMS, among others.
Minority Medical Colleges
Separate minority quota seat allocations have been provided for NIMRA Institute of Medical Sciences under the AU Area and Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences under the SVU Area.
