AP MBBS & BDS Admissions Opens Registration for Self-Financing and Management Quota Seats

Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh, has released a detailed notification inviting online applications for admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2026-27.

The registration is open for admissions under Competent Authority (Self-Financing) seats and Management Quota Category B1 and B2 seats. The notification also covers seats in newly established Government Medical Colleges permitted from the 2023-24 academic year onwards, along with Management Quota seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority and Minority Medical and Dental Colleges affiliated with NTRUHS.

The university has clarified that a separate notification will be issued for Category-C (NRI) seats.

NTRUHS MBBS & BDS 2026 Registration Schedule

Candidates can register online as per the following schedule:

With Late Fee September 7, 2026, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Rs. 31,000

The fee with late registration includes the Rs. 11,000 application fee and a Rs. 20,000 late fee.

No registrations will be accepted after the scheduled deadline under any circumstances. The application and processing fee, including the late fee, is non-refundable.

Candidates must complete the online application using a desktop or laptop through the official NTRUHS admission portal.

NEET UG 2026 Qualifying Cut-Off

The NEET UG 2026 qualifying cut-off scores are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS and BDS Admissions

Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination with the required marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.

General category candidates must secure at least 50% marks, while OBC/BC/SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 40% marks, subject to applicable NMC and Dental Council of India regulations.

Applicants must also complete 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2026.

Category B1 and B2 Seat Details

Category B1 seats, which constitute 15% of Category-B seats, are open to eligible candidates from across India and will be filled strictly based on NEET UG merit.

Category B2 seats, constituting 85% of Category-B seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority Colleges, are reserved for eligible local candidates of Andhra Pradesh based on the prescribed residence or study criteria.

For Minority Medical and Dental Colleges, Category-B seats will initially be allotted to eligible Muslim minority candidates. Non-Muslim minority candidates may be considered only if seats remain vacant during the Stray Vacancy Round.

Candidates must upload scanned copies of the original documents, including:

  • NEET UG 2026 Rank Card
  • SSC Memo or Birth Certificate
  • Intermediate Marks Memo
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Caste Certificate, if applicable
  • Minority Certificate, if applicable
  • Aadhaar Card
  • PwD Certificate, if applicable
  • Passport-size Photograph
  • Specimen Signature

Candidates applying for Category-B2 seats must additionally submit Study Certificates from Class 6 to Intermediate.

The university has warned that incomplete applications or applications without mandatory certificates will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for merit ranking.

University Warns Candidates Against Touts and Brokers

NTRUHS has advised candidates and parents to remain cautious of touts, brokers, and middlemen claiming to guarantee MBBS or BDS admissions.

The university has clarified that admissions and counselling will be conducted strictly based on NEET UG merit and the options exercised by candidates. Applicants are advised to rely only on official information published through the university’s official website.
