The Phase 2 counselling will cover unfilled seats, seats left vacant due to non-joining, and vacancies created through the Free Exit facility after Phase 1 in government, private unaided non-minority and minority medical colleges under NTRUHS. MBBS seats at Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women, Tirupati are also included.
Candidates who joined their Phase 1 allotted seat can participate in Phase 2 for upgradation to a preferred college. They have been advised to select only those colleges they genuinely prefer over their currently joined institution. If upgraded, the Phase 1 seat will automatically be cancelled.
Candidates who were allotted a seat in Phase 1 but did not report can also participate in Phase 2, except for the college they failed to join. Candidates who were not allotted any seat or did not exercise web options in Phase 1 are also eligible to participate. There is no limit on the number of web options that can be submitted.
However, candidates who availed the Free Exit facility after Phase 1 are not eligible to exercise web options in Phase 2 or subsequent phases of counselling.
The university has prescribed a ₹12,600 university fee for selected candidates. Those who already paid the university fee and downloaded their allotment order during Phase 1 do not need to pay it again if they receive a changed college or seat category, but they must download the fresh allotment order.
Candidates should submit their choices carefully because once web options are submitted, they are final and requests to modify the options or college priority after the deadline will not be entertained.
