Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has released the Sports Category Merit List for candidates who applied for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under NEET UG 2026 during the 1st Round of Online Counselling.

According to the public notice dated September 2, 2026, the Sports Category Merit List has been prepared by the Office of the Director, Sports, Punjab.

Merit List to Be Used for Round 2

BFUHS stated that since this is the first counselling process for candidates under the Sports Category, the merit list will be considered for allotment of seats under the Sports Category in the 2nd Round of Online Counselling.

If two or more candidates secure equal marks in the Sports Merit Evaluation, their inter-se merit will be decided on the basis of their NEET UG 2026 rank.

Applications in Round 2

The university has also clarified that applications received from candidates under the Sports Category during the 2nd Round of Online Counselling will not be considered for Round 2. Instead, these applications will be taken into account in the 3rd Round of Counselling.
