Bihar AYUSH Counselling 2026 Round 2 schedule is out. Registration starts on 10 October -candidates should complete the process within the given timeline.

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued a notice on the extended online counselling programme for Round 2 of UGMAC (Ayush) 2026. The counselling is for BAMS, BHMS and BUMS seats in government and private Ayush colleges of Bihar. The notice (Adv. No. BCECEB[UGMAC(Ayush)]-2026/04) is dated 9 October 2026.

Why Round 2 has been extended

  • As per a letter from the Health Department, Bihar, dated 8 October 2026, 7 new private homoeopathic medical colleges have been added
  • The addition is on the condition that each institute obtains affiliation for the academic session 2026-27 in accordance with the rules
  • An updated seat matrix has been uploaded on the Board’s website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in

Extended Round 2 schedule

  • Updated seat matrix posted on the Board’s website: 9 October 2026
  • Start of online registration, application-cum-choice filling, editing of application form data and editing of choices: 10 October 2026
  • Last date of online registration and application submission with payment (debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI), and editing of application form data: 13 October 2026, 11:59 PM
  • Consent for Round 2, with payment if any, from candidates who have already submitted the application form: 10 October to 13 October 2026, 11:59 PM
  • Publication of rank card: 14 October 2026
  • Last date of choice filling, editing of choices and locking: 15 October 2026, 11:59 PM
  • Round 2 provisional seat allotment result: 19 October 2026
  • Downloading of provisional seat allotment order: 19 October to 23 October 2026
  • Document verification and admission: 22 October to 23 October 2026

Who is eligible for Round 2

  • Qualified and eligible NEET (UG) 2026 candidates who have not registered, or who registered but did not duly submit their application
  • All Freeze and Float candidates of Round 1
  • Candidates who duly submitted the application but did not fill choices in Round 1
  • Candidates who filled choices but were not allotted any seat in Round 1
  • Round 1 was held from 5 October to 6 October 2026, and Round 2 will be conducted online

Instructions for Round 1 candidates

  • Freeze candidates must give their consent for Round 2 by logging in with their NEET (UG) 2026 roll number and password through the “Online Portal of UGMAC(Ayush)-2026” link on the Board’s website
  • Freeze and Float candidates may edit their earlier choices but cannot remove or delete their Round 1 allotted choice. They can swap its position in the list, but cannot edit their application form data
  • Freeze candidates who completed document verification and took admission, did not resign or withdraw within the scheduled period, and do not give consent will be treated as admitted candidates
  • Float candidates who do not edit their choices will be allotted seats in Round 2 on their previously filled choices
  • Candidates who resigned (Freeze), withdrew (Float), were treated as Free-Exit, or whose Round 1 seat was cancelled due to a data discrepancy must log in and fill fresh choices. Their previous choices become “Null & Void”, and they will not be eligible for Round 2 allotment otherwise. They can also edit their application form data
  • Candidates not allotted any seat in Round 1 can edit their previous choices and their application form data
  • Candidates may see the “Editing / Correction of Application Form Data” section of Adv. No. BCECEB[UGMAC(Ayush)]-2026/01 dated 18.09.2026 for the process

Fees, consent and editing rules

  • If editing application data creates an additional fee requirement, the candidate must pay the full counselling fee and security deposit afresh
  • The amount paid earlier will be refunded to the same account by the same mode of payment
  • Consent will be authenticated through the login password and an OTP sent to the registered mobile number or email ID
  • Candidates cannot edit their name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, DQ, mobile number, email ID, proof of identity or identity number
  • Due to upgradation of Round 1 candidates, virtual vacancies may arise in Round 2, so candidates should fill their choices keeping this in mind
  • If further vacancies arise due to resignation, the updated seat matrix will be uploaded on the Board’s website, and candidates should check it before filling choices
  • All other terms and conditions of Adv. No. BCECEB[UGMAC(Ayush)]-2026/01 dated 18.09.2026 remain the same
