Bihar NEET Counselling

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released an important notification regarding NEET UG 2026, NEET PG 2026, and AIAPGET 2026 counselling processes for admissions under Bihar state quota. The notice outlines key guidelines for candidates applying under Disability (DQ), NRI, and Minority quotas during the upcoming counselling rounds.

According to the official advertisement Adv. No. BCECEB-2026/01 dated April 2, 2026, candidates applying for medical, dental, AYUSH, and other professional courses must submit specific documents and certificates during the online registration process.

Disability Quota Certificate Guidelines :

Study MBBS Abroad 2025-26, Fees 2 lakh Per Year.

Candidates seeking admission under the Disability Quota (DQ) must obtain a valid disability certificate from designated medical centers approved under the RPWD Act 2016.

Some of the major authorized centers include:

Safdarjung Hospital & Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, New Delhi
Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research, Kolkata
Madras Medical College, Chennai

AIIMS Nagpur
Banaras Hindu University (IMS), Varanasi

The certificate must clearly specify the type of disability and the percentage of impairment, and it will determine whether the candidate is eligible or not eligible for admission in medical or dental courses as per the government norms.

Additionally, several medical institutions in Bihar such as PMCH Patna, NMCH Patna, IGIMS Patna, and DMCH Darbhanga are also authorized to issue disability certificates for specific categories like visual impairment and locomotor disability.

Proof of relationship between the sponsor and the candidate

The board has clarified that failure to upload these documents during registration will make the candidate ineligible for the NRI quota.

Minority Quota Application

Students applying for the Minority Quota (Muslim/Sikh) must select the appropriate option during registration and upload a valid minority certificate issued by the competent authority.
