Bihar UGMAC 2025 counselling has started, and eligible NEET UG candidates should follow the schedule carefully to complete the admission process on time.
Patna: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially started the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2025 for MBBS, BDS, and B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses. The counselling process is open to students seeking admission to government and private medical, dental, and veterinary colleges across Bihar, based on the NEET UG 2025 merit list released by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Step-by-Step Counselling Process
Step 1: Online Registration
Use your NEET UG 2025 Roll Number, Name, and Date of Birth to register. OTP verification will be done through your NEET-registered mobile number and email.
Step 2: Fill Application Form
Provide personal, academic, and contact details. Upload scanned documents including photograph and signature.
Step 3: Review & Submit
Carefully review the form before final submission and proceed to fee payment.
Step 4: Pay Counselling Fee & Security Deposit
Pay online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- Counselling Fee (Non-refundable):
₹1200 for UR/EWS/BC/EBC
₹600 for SC/ST/DQ (Govt. institutions only) - Security Deposit (Refundable):
₹10,000 – Govt. Colleges
₹2,00,000 – Private Medical Colleges
₹50,000 – Private Dental Colleges
Step 5: Choice Filling & Locking
Select your preferred colleges and courses. Lock choices before the deadline. OTP verification is required to unlock or edit.
Step 6: Download Confirmation
Save a copy of your submitted application and payment receipt.
Step 7: Print Choice Slip
Once choices are locked, download your final choice list from the dashboard.
Special Instructions for NRI Candidates
NRI applicants must choose the “NRI” option during registration and upload the following:
- NEET UG 2025 Scorecard
- NRI/OCI/PIO declaration
- Embassy certificate of parent/guardian

Editing & Re-submission
If you use the editing window, you must refill and re-lock your choices. Previously saved choices will be considered invalid after edits.
Seat Allotment & Admission
- After seat allotment, candidates must report in person to the assigned centre with original documents.
- If opting for upgradation in Round 2, documents submitted during Round 1 will be retained.
Key Points to Remember
- Single Registration is valid for both Round 1 and Round 2. No new application will be accepted between rounds.
- Seat allotment is done on a merit-cum-choice basis.
- Document verification is mandatory at the reporting centre.
- Follow Bihar government rules carefully when selecting reservation categories.
- For any technical/payment issues, immediately re-pay if deduction is not reflected and contact BCECEB for support.
