The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the official notification for Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026, inviting online applications and choice filling for Round 1 and Round 2 admissions to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. courses in government and private institutions across Bihar. The counselling process is based on NEET UG 2026 merit.

According to the notification, the online registration and application-cum-choice filling process will begin on August 10, 2026, while the last date to register, submit the application, and complete fee payment is August 14, 2026 (11:59 PM). Candidates can complete choice filling and locking until August 17, 2026 and the Round 1 seat allotment result will be published on August 20, 2026.

The counselling covers admissions to Government Medical, Dental, Veterinary and Fisheries Colleges, along with Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Bihar. BCECEB has also uploaded the complete seat matrix on its official website for candidates to review before filling their preferences.

Candidates must complete the online process by registering with their NEET UG 2026 Roll Number, verifying their identity through OTP, filling personal and academic details, uploading required documents, paying the counselling fee and security deposit and finally submitting and locking their preferred college choices.

For government colleges, the non-refundable counselling fee is ₹1,200 for UR/EWS/BC/EBC candidates and ₹600 for SC/ST/DQ candidates, while private medical and dental college applicants are required to pay ₹1,200 irrespective of category. In addition, candidates must pay the prescribed refundable security deposit based on the type of institution selected.

BCECEB has also clarified that all four counselling rounds will be conducted online and candidates are advised to complete registration well before the deadline to avoid payment or internet-related issues.
