The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the notice for the stray vacancy round of Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026. The notice (Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/14, dated 18 October 2026) invites online registration, application and choice filling after Round 3. It covers MBBS and BDS in government and private medical and dental colleges of Bihar, and B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. in government veterinary and fisheries colleges. The round will be conducted fully online, and online registration and application start on 19 October 2026.

Who Can Apply

• NEET (UG) 2026 candidates who have not registered or not submitted the application with payment in earlier rounds, and who are not admitted to any medical or dental college in India.
• Candidates who already submitted the application earlier and meet the conditions in para 15 of the advertisement can give their consent to take part.
• Candidates who did not fill choices, were not allotted a seat, had their seat cancelled (free exit, resignation, withdrawal or data discrepancy), or got no seat in Round 3 can log in and give consent.
• Candidates who were allotted an MBBS/BDS seat in Round 3 but whose seat was cancelled with forfeiture of security deposit (not reported, discrepancy, or reported but not admitted) can take part only for B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. seats, with fresh payment of counselling fee and security deposit.

Who Is Not Eligible

• Candidates admitted to a UG medical or dental seat through UGMAC-2026 Round 1, 2 or 3
• Candidates admitted through AIQ in NEET (UG) 2026 Round 1, 2 or 3, or allotted a seat in the AIQ stray vacancy round
• Candidates admitted to any medical or dental college in India
• Candidates in the MCC weeding-out list. Their seat, if held in Round 1, 2 or 3, will be cancelled and the security deposit forfeited.

Counselling Fee and Security Deposit

Counselling fee (non-refundable):

• Government medical, dental, veterinary and fisheries colleges: Rs 1,200 for UR/EWS/BC/EBC and Rs 600 for SC/ST/DQ
• Private medical or dental colleges, or any combination including private colleges: Rs 1,200 for all categories
• An additional processing charge applies for online payment.

Security deposit (refundable):

• Government medical, dental, veterinary and fisheries colleges: Rs 10,000 for UR/EWS and Rs 5,000 for SC/ST/BC/EBC
• Private medical college: Rs 2,00,000
• Private dental college: Rs 50,000
• Both private medical and dental colleges, or government plus private medical: Rs 2,00,000
• Government plus private dental: Rs 50,000
• Self-financed B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. seats: Rs 50,000

Payment can be made only online, by debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.

Other Key Points

• The updated seat matrix after Round 3 is on the Board’s website. Candidates should check it before registering, giving consent or editing choices. It will be updated if more seats fall vacant.
• Virtual vacancy may arise in B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. seats, and such seats will be added to the seat matrix.
• Seat allotment will be on a merit-cum-choice basis, using the UGMAC-2026 rank based on the NEET (UG) 2026 All India Rank.
• Candidates must save and lock their choices. Choices saved but not locked will be locked automatically after the deadline.
• Allotted candidates must upload documents online, download the provisional allotment order, and report in person to the allotted institute with original documents. Not reporting, or not taking admission, leads to cancellation of the seat and forfeiture of the security deposit.
• NRI and DQ candidates must upload the prescribed certificates and documents. Candidates should also confirm the fee structure of private colleges before applying.
