Key Rules Candidates Should Note
- Rank card: Only candidates who register and pay between October 22 and 28 will get a PGMAC rank card, due October 30.
- Round 1 free exit: Round 1 allottees can exit without losing the security deposit and join Round 2, but must fill fresh choices.
- Freeze and Float: “Freeze” candidates must report to the allotted institute with original documents. “Float” candidates opt for upgradation, and their documents are verified online.
- Round 2 forfeiture: Round 2 allottees who skip document verification and admission forfeit the security deposit, and resigning a Round 2 seat also forfeits it.
- Round 3: Candidates admitted in Round 1 or 2 who do not resign are not eligible for Round 3.
- Private colleges: Candidates who are not permanent residents of Bihar cannot get private college seats on reserved-category cut-offs. Reserved-category Bihar residents who apply under UR/EWS can still take part for private colleges.
- NRI and DQ candidates: NRI quota applicants must upload documents as per the MCC notice dated May 27, 2026. DQ candidates must upload the DQ certificate, UDID card and affidavit.
- Private college fees: Fees are high, and the Board takes no responsibility for them. Check the fee structure on the Board’s or the college’s website before filling choices.
- Payment failures: If money is debited but the payment does not show, candidates should pay again rather than wait. Applications with failed payment will be rejected, and no extra registration chance will be given after the deadline.
Documents Required
Candidates should keep ready the residential certificate, caste/EWS certificate, MBBS marksheets and passing certificate, internship completion certificate, medical registration certificate, NEET PG admit card, Aadhaar card, matric certificate and employer NOC (if applicable). Certificates for service in rural or difficult areas, in-service doctor status and DQ are needed where relevant. Details of rank card, confirmation page and six photographs are also required at verification.
