The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has extended the online counselling programme for the Stray Vacancy Round of the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026. The notice is Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/16, dated October 22, 2026. It is a continuation of Adv. Nos. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/14 and 2026/15 dated October 18, 2026.

Courses covered

The counselling is for MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. courses in government medical, dental and veterinary colleges, colleges of fisheries, and private medical and dental colleges of Bihar.

Why the dates were extended

The board received complaints from NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates about server and technical issues. Because of these, the candidates could not submit their consent and choices for the Stray Vacancy Round within the scheduled dates. The board extended the programme in the interest of candidates.

• Last date of online registration: October 24, 2026, up to 10:00 PM
• Last date to submit the application with payment (debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI) by a registered candidate, and to edit application form data: October 24, 2026, up to 11:59 PM
• Consent for the Stray Vacancy Round with payment (if any) from candidates who have already submitted the application form: up to October 24, 2026, 11:59 PM
• Publication of rank card: October 25, 2026
• Last date of choice filling, editing of choices and locking: October 25, 2026, up to 11:59 PM
• Publication of Stray Vacancy Round provisional seat allotment result: October 27, 2026
• Downloading of provisional seat allotment order: October 27 to October 29, 2026
• Documents verification and admission: October 28 to October 29, 2026

Important points for candidates

• Candidates who have already submitted the application form earlier must still give their consent for the Stray Vacancy Round, with payment if it applies, by the October 24 deadline.
• Candidates must lock their choices by 11:59 PM on October 25, 2026.
• All other terms and conditions of the Stray Vacancy Round, as given in Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/14 dated October 18, 2026, remain the same.
