The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued a corrigendum for Round 3 online application and choice filling under the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026. The corrigendum is dated October 3, 2026 (Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/12).

UGMAC 2026 covers admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. courses in government medical, dental, veterinary and fisheries colleges and private medical and dental colleges of Bihar.

What Is Step Four: Payment of Counselling Fee and Security Deposit

  • After clicking the "Final Submit & Proceed to Payment" button, candidates must complete the payment as instructed on the computer screen.
  • The counselling fee, once paid, is not refundable.
  • Payment must be made online only, by debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.
  • Candidates must pay a processing charge in addition to the counselling fee and security deposit.
  • The refundable security deposit, where applicable, must also be paid online at the time of online registration and submission of the application-cum-choice filling.

Counselling Fee

The counselling fee is Rs. 1,200 for UR, EWS, BC and EBC candidates and Rs. 600 for SC, ST and DQ candidates. For private colleges, all candidates pay Rs. 1,200.

Study MBBS Abroad 2025-26, Fees 2 lakh Per Year.

  • Government Medical/Dental/Veterinary/Fisheries College: Rs. 1,200 (UR/EWS/BC/EBC) and Rs. 600 (SC/ST/DQ)
  • Government Veterinary/Fisheries Colleges: Rs. 1,200 (UR/EWS/BC/EBC) and Rs. 600 (SC/ST/DQ)
  • Private Medical College: Rs. 1,200 for all categories
  • Private Dental College: Rs. 1,200 for all categories
  • Both Private Medical and Dental Colleges: Rs. 1,200 for all categories
  • Government and Private Medical Colleges together: Rs. 1,200 for all categories
  • Government and Private Dental Colleges together: Rs. 1,200 for all categories
  • Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges together: Rs. 1,200 for all categories

Security Deposit (Refundable)

The security deposit is Rs. 10,000 for UR and EWS candidates and Rs. 5,000 for SC, ST, BC and EBC candidates in government colleges. It is the same for all categories in private colleges.

  • Government Medical/Dental/Veterinary/Fisheries College: Rs. 10,000 (UR/EWS) and Rs. 5,000 (SC/ST/BC/EBC)
  • Government Veterinary/Fisheries Colleges: Rs. 10,000 (UR/EWS) and Rs. 5,000 (SC/ST/BC/EBC)
  • Private Medical College: Rs. 2,00,000 for all categories
  • Private Dental College: Rs. 50,000 for all categories
  • Both Private Medical and Dental Colleges: Rs. 2,00,000 for all categories
  • Government and Private Medical Colleges together: Rs. 2,00,000 for all categories
  • Government and Private Dental Colleges together: Rs. 50,000 for all categories
  • Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges together: Rs. 2,00,000 for all categories

Self-financed seats: Candidates who paid the government college security deposit but want admission under self-financed seats of B.V.Sc. & A.H. or B.F.Sc. must pay a security deposit of Rs. 50,000.

Important Notes for Candidates

  • If the money is debited from your account but the fee transaction fails, you must pay the full fee again and make sure the payment goes through.
  • If the required counselling fee and security deposit do not reach the Board's account by the due date, the application form will stay incomplete and will be rejected. The candidate will then not be eligible for the counselling process.
  • Failed transactions will be refunded to the candidate's account in due course.
