The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, has extended the last date for submitting online applications for NEET UG 2026-based undergraduate admissions to MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BVSc & AH programmes under the National, Special Scheme, and NRI categories for the 2026-27 academic session.

According to the official notification (Ref. No. CENTAC/UG-NEET/2026/02) issued on August 6, 2026, candidates can now submit their online applications until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026. The committee has clearly stated that no further extension will be granted beyond this deadline.

Relief for Candidates Awaiting Renewed Certificates

CENTAC has also provided relaxation for applicants who are still waiting for their renewed certificates. Such candidates may complete their application by uploading their existing (old) certificates before the extended deadline. However, the renewed certificates must be submitted before the publication of the Final Merit List.

Important Instructions for Applicants

• Candidates who had already completed and submitted their applications before 5:00 p.m. on August 6, 2026, will not be able to edit or modify their application details, as the data has been frozen.
• If any additional certificates need to be uploaded, candidates should use the Grievance option available in their candidate dashboard.
• Applicants are advised not to submit duplicate applications for making corrections or updates.
• Any request for modification of submitted information must be submitted only through the Grievance option before the Final Merit List is released.

1. Visit the official CENTAC Puducherry portal.
2. Log in to the candidate dashboard.
3. Complete and submit the pending application before 5:00 p.m. on August 8, 2026.
4. Upload old certificates if renewed certificates are not yet available.
5. Submit the renewed certificates later through the Grievance option once they are issued.
