The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, has officially extended the dates for the first round of counselling for NEET UG 2025 admissions into MBBS and BDS courses. This decision comes after several candidates were unable to complete their application due to technical errors or payment gateway issues during the original registration window.

This extension provides a second chance for such candidates to complete the registration process and for new applicants to join the counselling process. The updated schedule and key instructions have been issued via an official notice dated 06 August 2025.

Who Can Apply During the Extended Window?

1. Previously Registered Candidates with Incomplete Payment:
   • Candidates who had submitted the online application but failed to pay the application or registration fee due to payment gateway failure or other technical glitches can now complete the payment and finalize their application by 10 August 2025.
2. Fresh Candidates:
   • Eligible NEET UG 2025 candidates who did not register earlier can now apply afresh and participate in the first round of counselling.
   • They must complete both registration and choice filling within the revised dates.

The Chhattisgarh DME has taken a positive step by extending the counselling schedule, ensuring that no eligible student misses out due to technical issues. Candidates are strongly advised not to wait until the last minute to register and complete the necessary formalities.
