The Office of the Commissioner, Medical Education, Chhattisgarh has extended the last date for choice filling/locking for NEET UG 2026 Round 3 counselling. It has also released a revised seat matrix for the round. The notice (No. 1606/Chhatra/Counselling/Sanchishi/2026) was issued from Raipur on October 6, 2026.

• Earlier last date: October 7, 2026, up to 11:59 PM, as per the time-table in the notice dated September 30, 2026 (No. 1596)
• Extended last date: October 8, 2026, up to 11:59 PM

Eligible candidates in Round 3 have been asked to check the revised seat matrix and complete their choice filling/locking by this time.

Why a Revised Seat Matrix Was Released

Some candidates admitted in the earlier rounds (Round 1 and Round 2) have surrendered their seats. The seats vacated in the respective institutes have been added to the Round 3 seat matrix, and a revised matrix has been released. The revised list is titled "NEET UG (MBBS-BDS) Round-3 Clear Vacancy" and is dated October 6, 2026, after adding the new withdrawal seats.
