ESIC Releases Admission Notice for Wards of Insured Persons

The Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has officially released the admission notice for undergraduate courses under the “Wards of Insured Persons (IPs)” quota for the academic session 2026–27.

The admissions will be offered for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses in ESIC Medical, Dental and Nursing Colleges, along with selected government medical institutions across India.

Key Highlights 

Study MBBS Abroad 2025-26, Fees 2 lakh Per Year.

  • A total of 695 MBBS seats, 28 BDS seats and 60 BSc Nursing seats are provisionally available under the IP quota.

  • Admissions will be based on NEET UG 2026 scores and conducted through centralized online counselling by DGHS.

  • Eligible candidates must possess a valid Ward of Insured Person Certificate issued by ESIC.

Application Process

  • Candidates need to apply online through the ESIC portal to obtain the IP certificate.

  • Application window: April 30, 2026 – May 28, 2026

  • Last date for certificate issuance: May 31, 2026

After obtaining the certificate, candidates must register for counselling on the DGHS website.  

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must qualify NEET (UG) 2026

  • Must be a ward of an insured person under the ESI Scheme

  • Must meet all eligibility norms set by NTA, MCC and respective authorities. 

Fee Structure

  • Annual tuition fee for MBBS: ₹24,000

  • Additional charges include university fees, hostel and security deposits

Seats under this category will be pooled on an All India basis and allotment will depend on merit and candidate preferences
