Roorkee: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has officially announced the results of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates can access their results by logging into the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in, using their enrollment number and password.

The GATE 2025 scorecard will display essential details, including the candidate’s name, date of birth, application number, marks obtained, and rank secured. Candidates can download their scorecards from March 28 to May 31, 2025.

IIT Roorkee released the GATE 2025 answer key on February 27 and allowed applicants to raise objections until March 1. The institute conducted the exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, with two sessions each day—one from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and another from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The question paper included 65 questions, and students described the exam as moderately difficult, with questions aligning with previous-year papers.

Steps to Download GATE 2025 Result

Candidates can follow these steps to download their results:

1. Visit the official website: goaps.iisc.ac.in.
2. Enter the GATE 2025 enrollment ID or registered email ID and password.
3. Click on the "Login" button.
4. Select the "View Result" tab.
5. The GATE 2025 result PDF will appear on the screen.
6. Download and print the result for future reference.

This year, IIT Roorkee expanded the list of GATE exam cities by adding 11 new centres. The institute also relocated some candidates’ exam centers from Prayagraj to Lucknow due to MahaKumbh 2025.

GATE scores will serve as a crucial criterion for admissions into MTech programs at IITs and other participating institutions across the country.
