Gandhinagar, September 2026: The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Government of Gujarat, has released the schedule for online registration for the 3rd round and cancellation of 1st/2nd round admission at help centers, for admission to first-year undergraduate Medical and Dental courses for the academic year 2026-27.

Who Can Apply

The notification is applicable to candidates who:

• Have passed Class 12 (Science stream with B/AB group) from a Gujarat Board school, or from a school situated in Gujarat affiliated to CBSE, CISCE, or NIOS.
• Have qualified as per the All India Overall Rank in NEET-UG 2026 and fulfill eligibility criteria prescribed under the Admission Rules of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat.
• Have not registered in Round 1/Round 2, or were allotted a seat in Round 2 but have not confirmed admission (exited with forfeiture of refundable security deposit).

This applies to candidates seeking admission in Government and Self-Financed Medical and Dental Colleges in Gujarat.

Important Guidelines

• Online Registration Fee: PIN can be purchased online via www.medadmgujarat.org by paying Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable) + Rs. 10,000/- (refundable security deposit) = Total Rs. 11,000/-.
• After registration, candidates must take a prior appointment for Document Verification and submit self-attested photocopies at their chosen Help Center, selecting date/time while printing the Registration Slip.
• Help Center Timings: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. Closed on public holidays and Sundays.
• Local Quota Candidates: Those applying to local quota seats at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College (Ahmedabad) or Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education & Research (SMIMER, Surat) must obtain a certificate confirming local resident status of Ahmedabad/Surat city from the Dean of the respective institute.
• NRI Candidates: After online application, a Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000/- in favor of "ACPUGMEC," payable at Gandhinagar, must be submitted as processing fee at the GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar help center only.
• Candidates who already purchased the Online PIN by paying Rs. 11,000/- in Round 1/2 but did not complete online registration/document verification need not purchase the PIN again - they only need to complete document verification and submit photocopies at the Help Center.
• Candidates are advised to regularly check www.medadmgujarat.org for updated information.
