Gujarat NEET UG 2026 Round 2: 714 Candidates Removed from Merit List
The Gujarat NEET UG 2026 counselling authority has released two separate lists of candidates whose refundable security deposit has been forfeited and whose names have been removed from the merit list after Round 2 of MBBS and BDS counselling.
According to the lists dated September 19, 2026, action has been taken against candidates for two reasons — non-reporting after Round 2 seat allotment and cancellation of admission after Round 2.

711 Candidates Removed Due to Non-Reporting
The first list contains 711 candidates who failed to report after receiving a seat in Round 2. Their refundable security deposit has been forfeited, and they have also been removed from the merit list. The list covers both medical and dental admissions.
The document includes candidate-wise details such as All India Rank, general merit rank, category merit rank, allotted institution, branch, admission category and seat type.
The affected candidates include those allotted seats under Government Quota, Management Quota and NRI seats at various participating medical and dental colleges across Gujarat. For example, the first page includes allotments at Shri M.P. Shah Government Medical College Jamnagar, GMERS Medical College Navsari, Government Dental College Ahmedabad, GCS Medical College Ahmedabad and other institutions. The list continues through serial number 711, confirming that 711 candidates were included under the non-reporting category.
3 Candidates Removed After Cancelling Admission
A separate list has also been issued for candidates who cancelled their admission after Round 2. The document contains three candidates, and their refundable security deposits have also been forfeited while their names have been removed from the merit list.
The three cases include seats at GMERS Medical College Sola, Ahmedabad and Pramukhswami Medical College, Karamsad, covering NRI and Government seat categories. Overall, the two published lists cover 714 candidates whose security deposits have been forfeited following Round 2 — 711 for non-reporting and 3 for cancellation of admission.
