Gujarat has announced the security deposit schedule for the Special Stray Round for MBBS and BDS admissions under NEET UG 2026. The important notice was published on 2 November 2026 at 3:42 PM. Candidates who want to take part in this round must complete the security deposit within the given window.

Security deposit schedule

• Security deposit amount: Rs 3 lakh
• Start date: 2 November 2026
• Last date and time: 4 November 2026, 3:30 PM

The window gives candidates about two days to pay. Payment after 3:30 PM on 4 November 2026 is not covered by this schedule.

Vacant seats in the Special Stray Round

The notice follows the release of the vacant seat list for the Special Stray Round for 2026-27, dated 2 November 2026. That list shows 88 vacant seats in total.

• MBBS: 56 seats (12 Government Quota and 44 Management Quota)
• BDS: 32 seats (24 Government Quota and 8 Management Quota)

Most of the MBBS seats are in the Management Quota. Many of the seats are limited to specific categories, so candidates should check the seat list carefully.

What candidates should do

• Read the official notice and the vacant seat list on the ACPUGMEC Gujarat website before paying.
• Pay the Rs 3 lakh security deposit before 3:30 PM on 4 November 2026. Avoid waiting for the last day, because heavy traffic or payment problems could cost you your chance to participate.
• Keep the payment receipt safe. It may be needed in later steps.
• Check the quota and category of each seat before choice filling.
• Follow the official website for the choice filling schedule, result date and reporting instructions for the Special Stray Round.

Why this matters

The Special Stray Round is one of the last chances to get an MBBS or BDS seat in Gujarat this year. Missing the security deposit deadline could mean missing the round entirely, so candidates should plan the payment in advance.

The notice does not say whether the deposit is refundable. Candidates should check the counselling rules on the official website for details.
