The Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER), Haryana has issued a public notice regarding the withdrawal of recognition of PDM Dental College and the subsequent arrangements for affected BDS and MDS students.

According to the notice, the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, through an order dated July 23, 2026, has directed the withdrawal of recognition under the National Dental Commission Act, 2023, leading to the closure of PDM Dental College and the shifting of its BDS and MDS students to other dental colleges in Haryana.

NOC Withdrawn for PDM Dental College

Following the Government of India’s order, the Haryana Government, through an order dated July 12/13, 2026, has withdrawn the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued to PD Memorial Religious and Education Association, Sarai Aurangabad, Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar for conducting BDS and MDS courses.

Offline Counselling at Pt. B.D. Sharma University

To facilitate the continuation of studies of the affected students, the Haryana Government will conduct offline counselling at Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.

The counselling will be conducted for the adjustment of affected BDS and MDS students into other recognized dental colleges in Haryana.

The notice states that the date, time and detailed schedule for offline counselling will be notified separately.
