NEW DELHI: Candidates eager to know the total registrations for JEE Mains 2025 must read this article. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the official data on the number of students who registered and appeared for the exam. Many aspirants check these figures to gauge the level of competition.
In JEE Mains 2025 Session 1, authorities recorded a total of 13,11,544 registrations, with 12,58,126 candidates appearing for the exam. Estimates suggest that around 9 lakh applicants have registered for the April session, but this figure remains speculative. The final registration statistics will be available online at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The NTA is the sole authority responsible for publishing the official registration data for JEE Mains 2025. The agency will release these statistics along with the JEE Mains results. Scheduled from April 2 to April 9, the Session 2 exams will conclude with results announced on April 17, 2025.
How Many Students Registered for JEE Mains 2025?
NTA will provide the complete registration statistics for JEE Mains 2025 when announcing the results. Candidates can access the official figures on this page once released. However, the registration numbers for Session 2 are expected to be lower than those of Session 1. This assumption is based on the reduced number of exam shifts, with only 9 shifts for B.Tech in Session 2 compared to 10 in Session 1.
