IPU MBBS Round 3 Counselling 2026 Schedule Out: Candidates can now check the complete counselling schedule, important dates, and upcoming admission activities.

New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has released the schedule for MBBS (Code 103) Round 3 counselling for the 2026-27 session. The notification is dated October 1, 2026. Registration and choice filling began on October 2, 2026, and the tentative result will be declared on October 6, 2026.

Only NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates can take part in the online counselling for seats in GGSIPU-affiliated medical colleges and institutes. Admissions will be made purely on merit, based on NEET UG 2026 All India Rank and the qualifying percentile.

Who Is Eligible for IPU MBBS Round 3?

The following candidates are eligible for provisional seat allotment in Round 3:

  • Candidates who registered and filled choices but were not allotted a seat in Rounds 1 and 2.
  • Candidates whose allotted seat was cancelled for not uploading a valid reserved category certificate, which converted them to General Category.
  • Candidates who reported at the allotted institute in Rounds 1 and 2 and submitted a "Float" willingness for upgradation in Round 3.

Who Is Not Eligible?

  • Candidates not registered for counselling.
  • Candidates who registered but did not fill choices or preferences.
  • Candidates allotted a seat in Rounds 1 and 2 who did not pay the Part Academic Fee.
  • Candidates who paid the Part Academic Fee and submitted a "Freeze" willingness.
  • Candidates who paid the fee and chose "Freeze/Float" but did not report at the allotted college.
  • Candidates who withdrew their allotted seat in Rounds 1 and 2.

Key Instructions for Candidates

  • Category and region correction: Candidates can edit their application form, specifically Category, Sub-Category and Region (based on where the qualifying Class 12 exam was passed, in Delhi or outside Delhi). They must upload their educational testimonials, reserved category documents and NEET UG 2026 scorecard.
  • Cut-off: Candidates must have secured the minimum NEET UG 2026 cut-off percentile and score as per NMC/DCI/NCISM regulations.
  • Class 12 marksheet: Since the Class 12 result has been declared, candidates must upload their Class 12 or qualifying exam marksheet. Seats secured on the basis of a claimed category or region will be cancelled in the absence of valid or correct documents.
  • Delhi quota: Candidates who studied 10+2 (Classes 11 and 12) at a recognised school or college in Delhi and passed the qualifying exam from a school or college in Delhi are eligible for Delhi Category/Quota seats. They must upload both Class 11 and 12 marksheets in a single PDF.
  • Compartment cases: Candidates with a compartment in the qualifying exam will not be considered for admission.
  • Fees: The application fee of Rs. 2,500 is non-refundable. Part Academic Fee paid for one programme will not be adjusted against another programme.
  • Provisional allotment: Seats will initially be allotted in the claimed category and region. Documents will be checked after allotment and payment of the Part Academic Fee. Seats allotted on a wrong region or invalid reserved category documents will be cancelled.
  • Result-awaited cases: Provisional admission will not be done for result-awaited, compartment or supplementary cases.
  • False information: If any information furnished is found to be incorrect or false at any stage, the admission will be cancelled and all fees paid will be forfeited.

The university has advised candidates and parents to visit the affiliated colleges before choice filling to check location, hostel, transport and infrastructure. Representations about allotted colleges being far from the place of residence will not be entertained.
