IPU NEET UG Round 2 Procedure and Reporting Schedule Released
GGSIPU has released the procedure for candidates allotted seats in NEET UG 2026 Round 2 MBBS/BDS counselling, including fee payment, willingness submission, document verification and institute reporting.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has issued the procedure to be followed after declaration of Round 2 results for the 2026-27 academic session. The notification covers candidates allotted seats through NEET UG 2026 counselling.

Part Academic Fee
Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 must pay the applicable Part Academic Fee to confirm their allotment and remain eligible for subsequent counselling rounds.
- MBBS: ₹96,000
- B.Sc. (H) Nursing: ₹60,000
Fee payment is mandatory. Candidates who fail to pay the required fee within the prescribed timeline will lose their claim to the allotted seat and will not be considered for subsequent online counselling rounds.
Freeze or Float Option
After Round 2 allotment, candidates must submit their willingness through their login:
- FREEZE: Candidate accepts the allotted seat and does not wish to participate in further upgradation.
- FLOAT: Candidate wishes to participate in the next round for possible upgradation while retaining the allotted seat if a higher preference is not obtained.
- If a candidate does not submit willingness, FLOAT will be considered as the default option.
Document Verification and Reporting
Candidates who have paid the Part Academic Fee will undergo online verification of their uploaded documents. Candidates must regularly check their login for any queries raised during verification.
After verification, candidates can print their Provisional Seat Allotment Letter and must report to the allotted college/institute within the prescribed deadline for physical verification and joining.
The university has also clarified that allotments are initially made based on the category and region claimed during registration. Any discrepancy in region, reserved-category documents or eligibility may result in cancellation of the allotment.
