Important Guidelines for Candidates

• Result Declaration: Round 1 results were declared on September 21, 2026. Candidates must check results through their account login; no personal intimation will be sent via call or mail.
• Mandatory Fee Payment: Candidates allotted a seat must pay the Part Academic Fee of ₹60,000 via Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card to remain eligible for further counselling rounds.
• Willingness Submission: Candidates must submit either FLOAT (for upgradation) or FREEZE (no upgradation) as per their preference.
• Mandatory Reporting: Reporting to the allotted institute is compulsory for seat confirmation and continued eligibility in subsequent rounds.
• Document Verification: Online verification of uploaded documents will follow fee payment. Any discrepancies will trigger queries in the candidate's login, which must be answered within the stipulated time - failure to respond may lead to seat cancellation.
• Reserved Category Rules: Admission will be granted in the claimed category and region; documents will be verified later at the allotted institute. Seats allotted on incorrect region/category claims will be cancelled.
• Working Days Clause: All Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted holidays will be treated as working days to maintain the counselling timeline.
• No Refund After Deadline: No requests for fee refund or withdrawal will be entertained after the stipulated schedule, and none through post, email, or fax.
• Provisional Admission: All admissions remain provisional until regularized by the University; no provisional admission will be granted for result-awaited or compartment/supplementary cases.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official portal (https://ipu.admissions.nic.in) and the university website for updates, and to complete all steps - fee payment, willingness submission, and reporting — within the deadlines to remain eligible for further rounds.
