Ranchi, September 21, 2026: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released an important notice (Advt. No. JCECEB/46/26-87) regarding corrections in the State Merit List prepared on the basis of NEET (UG)-2026 results.

What the Notice Says

The Board had earlier published Advertisement No. JCECEB/46/26-47 dated 06.08.2026 for preparation of the State Merit List used for conducting the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Stray Vacancy rounds of online counselling for admission to State Quota seats in MBBS, BDS, and BHMS courses.

Following this, the Board received representations from several candidates seeking corrections in category and other particulars. In response, JCECEB has clarified the process for submitting such correction requests.

Key Points for Candidates

• Only valid representations considered: Corrections will be entertained strictly as per the provisions of Clause 7 of the original advertisement.
• Certificate requirement: ST/SC/BCI(NCL)/BCII(NCL)/I&A (EWS) certificates must be issued by an officer not below the rank of Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) of Jharkhand State.
• Who should apply: All candidates whose names appear in the State Merit Lists published on 07.09.2026.
• Application window: Fresh applications with correction details must be submitted between 22.09.2026 and 23.09.2026, up to 6:00 PM.
• Mode of submission: Applications must be emailed to controller.jceceb@gmail.com, along with supporting documents.
• No late entries: Requests received after the deadline, or without proper supporting documents, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
