The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has invited online applications from NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates for preparation of the state merit list and admission counselling for MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses offered by private medical colleges in Jharkhand.

The counselling process will cover All India and NRI Quota seats. JCECEB has issued separate notices for MBBS and BDS/BHMS admissions, outlining the application process, eligibility requirements and other important details.

Separate Notices for MBBS, BDS and BHMS

JCECEB has released two separate advertisements for the counselling process. Advertisement No. JCECEB/46/26-50 relates to MBBS admissions, while Advertisement No. JCECEB/46/26-51 covers BDS and BHMS admissions.

The merit lists will be prepared on the basis of NEET UG 2026 results and candidates included in the respective merit lists will be considered for the subsequent counselling rounds.

How to Apply for JCECEB NEET UG Counselling 2026

Eligible candidates must visit the official JCECEB website and access the “Important Notice” section. Candidates should carefully read the notice applicable to their course before filling out the online application form.

The detailed notices provide information regarding age criteria, educational qualifications, application fees and other eligibility requirements. Candidates must complete and submit their applications between August 9 and August 12, 2026 to be considered for the merit list for the first round of counselling.

Counselling Rounds

JCECEB will conduct the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Stray Vacancy rounds of online counselling for the available seats. The counselling schedule will be announced by the Board separately.
