JEE Mains 2025 Session 2: NTA to Conduct Exam from April 2

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 2 for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) today, April 2. Candidates must not bring electronic devices with calculator functions, metallic items or any other electronic gadgets inside the examination hall.

Candidates should verify essential details on their JEE Main 2025 session 2 admit card including exam timings, reporting time and gate closing time. Those assigned the second shift are encouraged to visit the examination center in advance to familiarize themselves with the location and travel arrangements.

The NTA has strictly prohibited carrying items such as instruments, geometry or pencil boxes, handbags, purses, papers, stationery, textual materials (printed or written), eatables, water (loose or packed), mobile phones, earphones, microphones, pagers, calculators, docupens, slide rules, log tables and any type of watch including electronic watches with calculator functions. Additionally, no arrangements will be available at the examination center for storing valuables.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Dress Code

While the NTA has not issued specific dress code guidelines for JEE Main 2025 session 2, candidates both male and female should wear basic simple clothing and avoid caps, scarves, accessories, electronic devices or any metallic items. Students are also advised to refrain from wearing jeans or clothing with multiple pockets and metallic embellishments, as these are prohibited inside the exam hall.

Candidates should monitor their health before appearing for the exam. Diabetic candidates may carry sugar tablets, fruits and transparent water bottles inside the examination hall.

Presenting a JEE Main 2025 session 2 admit card along with valid identification is mandatory to appear for the exam. The admit card contains essential details such as exam date, timing, venue and other instructions.

Exam Timings and Admit Card Access

The JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam will be conducted in two shifts:

  • Forenoon Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
  • Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Candidates who have not yet downloaded their admit cards for the April 2, 3, and 4 exams can access them by logging in with their application number and password on the official NTA website: jeemain.nta.ac.in.
