Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 Counselling Schedule Released – Check Round-Wise Dates

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the detailed NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in private medical colleges of Jharkhand. The counselling will be conducted for All India and NRI Quota seats in accordance with the directions of the Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand.

JCECEB has issued Advertisement No. JCECEB/46/26-52 for MBBS admissions and Advertisement No. JCECEB/46/26-53 for BDS admissions.

Colleges Covered Under Counselling

The MBBS counselling covers Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College & Hospital, Bishrampur, Palamu and Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital, Adityapur, Seraikela-Kharsawan.

Study MBBS Abroad 2025-26, Fees 2 lakh Per Year.

For BDS admissions, counselling will be conducted for Vananchal Dental College and Hospital, Garhwa, under Babu Dinesh Singh University, Garhwa.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for counselling must meet the prescribed eligibility requirements, including:

  • Must be 17 years old at the time of admission or attain the age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2026.
  • There is no upper age limit.
  • Must have individually passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
  • General category candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.
  • For SC, ST and OBC (NCL) candidates, the minimum requirement is 40%.
  • The prescribed relaxation also applies to PwBD/PwD candidates.
  • Candidates must have a valid NEET UG 2026 rank.
  • NRI quota applicants must submit the prescribed NRI format and produce the required original documents during admission.

Important Rules for Security Deposit

The security deposit may be forfeited if a candidate does not take admission after being allotted a seat in the second or subsequent counselling rounds. It may also be forfeited if admission is cancelled because of incorrect information provided during registration or failure to submit the required original documents.

The deposit will be refunded if the candidate takes valid admission or does not receive a seat during any counselling round. Eligible refunds will be credited to the same account used for payment within three months of completion of the final counselling round.

How to Participate in JCECEB NEET UG Counselling 2026

Candidates can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official JCECEB website.
  2. Select “Click here for All Online Application Submission – JCECEB 2026.”
  3. Complete the merit-list application if they have not already applied.
  4. Candidates who have already submitted the merit-list application do not need to apply again for subsequent counselling rounds.
  5. For seat allotment, select “Click here for All Online Counselling-2026.”
  6. Register and submit course and college choices according to the applicable round schedule.
  7. Download the provisional seat allotment letter after allotment.
  8. Report to the allotted institute for document verification and admission within the prescribed deadline.

Important Note for Candidates

The counselling process will be conducted in accordance with the applicable guidelines of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. If there are changes in the applicable guidelines, JCECEB may revise the counselling schedule and related terms.

Candidates should regularly check the official JCECEB website for merit lists, vacant seat matrices, revised schedules, seat allotment updates and other counselling-related notifications.
