The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has announced an updated schedule for the ongoing Round 1 online counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the 2026-27 academic session. The schedule has been updated in compliance with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) directions regarding the extension of the UG State Counselling 2026 schedule.

Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Revised Schedule

For State Quota MBBS and BDS seats, the updated dates are:

The registration, choice filling and editing activities will continue simultaneously on August 25, 2026.

All India Quota Seats

The Round 1 counselling schedule for All India seats in MBBS courses at Laxmi Medical College & Hospital, Palamu; Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital, Seraikela-Kharsawan Sido Kanhu Medical College & Hospital, Dumka and Birsa Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Khunti has also been updated.

• Last date for registration and choice filling: August 25, 2026
• Seat allotment and provisional allotment letter: August 27 to September 5, 2026
• Document verification and admission: August 28 to September 5, 2026

For the BDS course at Vananchal Dental College and Hospital, Garhwa, the updated schedule also extends the registration deadline to August 25, 2026, with seat allotment scheduled from August 27 to September 5, 2026, followed by document verification and admission from August 28 to September 5, 2026.

Other Important Updates

JCECEB stated that BHMS seat details have not yet been received from the Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand. Once the seat details become available, recommendations will be sent based on the NEET UG-based State Merit List.

The revised schedules for the 2nd, 3rd and Stray Vacancy Rounds will be published separately in accordance with MCC directions. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official website for further counselling updates.
