The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released an indicative notification regarding the revised schedule for the 2nd (Second) Round of online counselling for admission to MBBS courses for the academic year 2026–27.

The revised schedule has been issued in compliance with the directions of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi, dated August 27, 2026, regarding the NEET UG 2026 Round 2 counselling schedule.

Seats Covered Under Round 2

The second round of online counselling will be conducted for eligible candidates for:

• 60% seats earmarked for qualified students from across the country (All India Quota).
• 15% seats earmarked for NRI-supported students (NRI Quota).

The notification covers MBBS seats in the following medical colleges:

• Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College & Hospital, Palamu
• Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital, Seraikela-Kharsawan
• Sido Kanhu Medical College & Hospital, Dumka
• Birsa Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Khunti

Revised Counselling Schedule

JCECEB has stated that the detailed revised schedule for the second round of counselling for MBBS, BDS and B.H.M.S. courses has been uploaded under the “Important Notice” section of the Board's official website.

Candidates are advised to check the detailed notice and follow the revised schedule for registration, choice filling, seat allotment and other counselling-related activities.
