The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the online choice filling schedule for NEET UG 2026 counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. The schedule was issued through Notification No. 152-BOPEE of 2026 dated August 15, 2026.

The choice filling process will allow eligible candidates to submit their preferred colleges and courses for seat allotment under the J&K NEET UG 2026 counselling process.

Choice Filling Fee

Candidates participating in the preference-filling process are required to pay an online fee of ₹1,500.

• Bank transaction charges will be borne by the candidate.
• The fee is non-refundable.
• Candidates who fail to complete the payment successfully will not be considered for seat allotment, irrespective of the reason for payment failure.

Merit List and Category Certificate Updates

JKBOPEE had previously released the Provisional Merit List for NEET UG Courses 2026 through Notification No. 145-BOPEE of 2026 dated August 12, 2026.

Candidates were given an opportunity to submit objections until August 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The representations received by the Board have now been examined and disposed of according to the applicable rules. Candidates should log in to the official portal and verify their updated merit status before submitting preferences.

Candidates who failed to submit valid category certificates by the prescribed deficiency deadline will be considered under the Open Merit Category during seat allotment, provided they otherwise meet the eligibility requirements.

Similarly, candidates who did not submit valid sub-category certificates within the deadline will be considered under their respective main categories during allotment, subject to eligibility.

• Final admission will remain subject to eligibility verification by the concerned college or institution for provisionally selected candidates.
• All other conditions will remain applicable as specified in the e-Information Brochure and notifications/notices issued by JKBOPEE.
