The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the UGNEET-2026 option entry deadline for admission to Medical and Dental Courses. As per the latest notification dated September 9, 2026, eligible candidates can now modify, add, alter, or delete their options for the second-round seat allotment until September 10, 2026, at 9:30 AM.

Candidates who have not yet finalized their choices are advised to log in to the KEA portal and complete the option entry process within the revised deadline. Candidates can also modify or rearrange their previously entered options before the deadline.

Bagalkote Medical College Added to Seat Matrix

KEA has further informed candidates that the Government has issued the seat matrix for Bagalkote Medical College and Research, Bagalkote, a newly established Government Medical College.

The seat matrix for the college was hosted on the KEA website on September 7, 2026, and eligible candidates can now add options for this college during the option-entry process.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• The revised option-entry deadline is September 10, 2026, at 9:30 AM.
• Candidates must log in to the portal and save and submit their options before the deadline.
• Candidates are advised to regularly check the KEA website for updates regarding seat availability.
• Seats may be considered for allotment as a result of consequential vacancy that may arise during the seat allotment process.
• Candidates should retain their interest in the seat options they have entered.
• Candidates are advised to preserve a printout of their finally submitted options for future reference.

The extension provides candidates additional time to review their preferences and include the newly added Bagalkote Medical College and Research in their choices. Candidates should complete the option-entry process within the revised deadline to participate in the second-round seat allotment for Karnataka UGNEET 2026.
