KEA Extends PG Medical Stray Vacancy Round 2025
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the PG Medical Stray Vacancy Round 2025 for admissions. Candidates qualified in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 can apply for the 783 vacant PG seats, with option entry on 11 March 2026.
KEA PG Medical Stray Vacancy Round Extended – Option Entry on March 11
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced an extension of the Stray Vacancy Round for PG Medical Courses 2025. This decision follows the order of the Hon’ble High Court in Writ Petition No. 2386/2026.
Earlier, the stray vacancy seat allotment results were declared on 7 March 2026 and candidates were instructed to complete admission by 12 March 2026. KEA has now released details of 783 PG medical seats that remain vacant after the stray vacancy round.
According to the authority, candidates interested in these seats must submit the full course fee through DD or cheque (in favour of the Executive Director, KEA payable at Bengaluru) along with all required original documents at the KEA office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru.

Eligibility
Only candidates who have qualified National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 but have not been allotted any PG medical seat in KEA counselling are eligible to participate.
Candidates who have already joined a college through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Deemed Universities, or any other board, as well as those allotted seats in the MCC stray vacancy round, are not eligible for this process.
