The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released an official notification regarding the submission of Special Category certificates and documents for candidates seeking admission through UGNEET 2026. The verification process will be conducted on August 5, 2026, at the KEA office in Bengaluru for eligible candidates belonging to various reservation categories.

According to the notification, candidates applying under Karnataka candidates, NCC, Sports, Defence, Ex-Defence, Scouts & Guides, CAPF, Ex-CAPF, and AGL categories must submit their original certificates and supporting documents at KEA on August 5, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Only newly registered candidates are eligible to participate in this document verification.

KEA has also scheduled medical examinations for newly registered Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates on the same day. Candidates must report at 9:30 AM with their BERA and Audiology reports. Those who have already appeared for the medical examination earlier will not be required to attend again.

Additionally, newly registered candidates claiming the Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannada category must appear for the Kannada Language Test on August 5, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates who have already taken the Kannada examination earlier in 2026 are exempt from appearing again.

KEA has advised all eligible candidates to carry their original certificates and reach the venue on time to avoid any inconvenience during the verification process.
