KEA Releases Grace Marks for KCET Candidates
The Karnataka Examinations Authority has officially announced grace marks for candidates who appeared in KCET 2026 examinations conducted on 26 April 2026.
According to the notification released by KEA, grace marks have been awarded in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects after reviewing specific questions from different versions of the examination papers. The authority stated that the decision was taken following expert committee recommendations regarding certain disputed or incorrect questions.
In the Physics paper, candidates have been awarded grace marks for two questions across multiple paper sets. Similarly, one question in the Chemistry examination has been considered for grace marks. In Biology, students will receive marks for two or three questions depending on the paper version.
The official notice includes detailed question numbers for all paper sets such as A1, A2, B1, C1, D1 and others. KEA clarified that the grace marks will automatically be added during the evaluation process and candidates are not required to submit any separate request.
The authority also mentioned that these revised marks will be reflected in the final KCET 2026 results prepared by the board. Students are advised to regularly check the official KEA website for further updates regarding result announcements and counselling schedules.
