The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released an official notice detailing the document verification process for UGNEET 2026 candidates. The notification clarifies which candidates are exempt from verification, who must appear for verification, the designated venues and the slot booking schedule.

Candidates Not Required to Attend Document Verification

The following candidates are not required to appear for document verification:

• Candidates who have already downloaded their verification slip after entering their NEET UG 2026 roll number. If needed, they may simply re-download the verification slip.
• Newly registered candidates who have not claimed any reservation category in their application.

Candidates Required to Attend Document Verification

The following UGNEET 2026 candidates must appear for document verification after registering with KEA, entering their NEET roll number, and submitting the required details in the application form:

Note: Candidates claiming Category RC-1 and RC-9 under St. John's Medical College are not required to attend document verification.

Important Instructions

• Candidates must appear in person for document verification. No representative or proxy will be allowed.
• Applicants should carry all original documents specified in the UGNEET 2026 Information Bulletin available on the KEA website.
• Slot booking for document verification will begin on 2 August 2026 through the "Slot Book" link on the KEA portal.
• Document verification will be conducted from 4 August to 8 August 2026, only for candidates who have successfully booked a verification slot.
• Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official KEA website for the latest updates and further instructions regarding the UGNEET 2026 admission process.
