KEA UGCET 2026 Second Round Seat Allotment Result Released

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the final result of the 2nd round of seat allotment for UGCET 2026 on August 24, 2026. The allotment covers Engineering, Architecture, Yoga & Naturopathy, Farm Sciences, Veterinary, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharma, Pharm-D, BPT, BPO and Allied Health Sciences courses.

Candidates allotted seats in the second round can make their fee payment from August 25 to August 27, 2026, and must complete admission at the allotted college on or before August 28, 2026.

Key Instructions for Candidates

  • Candidates who have selected Choice-1 must mandatorily take admission to the allotted seat.
  • Candidates who have selected Choice-1 but are interested in participating in the third round of seat allotment can log in to the KEA portal after the third-round schedule is announced.
  • Candidates who do not wish to take the Choice-1 allotted seat and want to participate in the third round must cancel the allotted seat and pay the applicable ₹5,000 penalty before logging in to the third-round process.
  • For UGCET courses, candidates can select only Choice-1 or Choice-4.

Medical & Dental Courses: Important Update

KEA has also issued instructions for candidates who wish to exit KEA counselling after receiving an MCC-allotted seat for UG Medical/Dental courses.

Candidates who were allotted seats in the first round of MCC counselling can exit the KEA counselling process by logging into the KEA website and selecting Choice-4 (Exit) on or before August 25, 2026.

KEA stated that the medical and dental seats cancelled through Choice-4 will be included in the first-round re-allotment process, based on the options already entered by candidates. The revised first-round allotment will be published after considering higher-order options, subject to applicable rules.

The Choices selection portal for Medical and Dental courses for the first round will subsequently be enabled.
