Karnataka UGNEET Stray Vacancy Round 2026 new registration has started. Eligible candidates can complete the registration process and participate in the stray vacancy round.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the Online Stray Vacancy Round for medical and dental seats under UGNEET-2026. The notice (No. ED/KEA/UGNEET/CR-11/2026 (SVR)) is dated 8 October 2026.
Seats available in the stray vacancy round
- Medical seats that remained unfilled after the 3rd round of seat allotment were published on the KEA website on 8 October 2026
- No dental seats remain unallotted after the 3rd round
- These seats will be offered in the Stray Vacancy Round, along with any other medical or dental seats that may be cancelled or forfeited
- Medical or dental seats of candidates who do not take admission before the last date after the 3rd round will also be cancelled and added to the stray vacancy round
New registration for the stray vacancy round
- Dates: 13 October 2026 to 16 October 2026
- Candidates who have qualified in NEET 2026 but have not yet registered with KEA, or have not completed the registration process, may register
- The process covers new registration, paying the fee, downloading the verification slip, payment of the medical course fee and option entry
- Candidates can then take part in the stray vacancy round in accordance with the counselling norms
- Candidates who already have a verification slip do not need to register again
Eligibility
- Only candidates who have not been allotted a medical seat in any round of seat allotment through KEA are eligible for medical seat allotment
- Candidates who have selected a dental seat may take part only for medical seats, subject to payment of the medical course fee
Ineligibility
- Candidates who selected and reported for a seat during the first three rounds of allotment under the All India Quota, Deemed Universities or any other institution or board are not eligible
- Candidates allotted a seat in MCC’s fourth round are also not eligible
- Candidates who have been allotted a medical seat in any round through KEA are not eligible
