The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has opened online option registration for the first phase of MBBS and BDS allotment for the 2026-27 academic year. The process is open to candidates included in the Kerala State Medical Rank List, while NRI quota seats are excluded from this phase.

Eligible candidates can register their preferred courses and colleges through the official CEE Kerala website.

KEAM 2026 MBBS/BDS First Phase Allotment Schedule

The schedule is tentative and may be revised in accordance with the MCC counselling timeline. Admission on 26 August 2026 is excluded from the specified joining period.

Colleges Included in Round 1

The first phase covers Government and Self-Financing Medical Colleges as well as Dental Colleges listed in the respective annexures. Allotment to NRI quota seats will commence from Round 2.

Reservation Pattern

The reservation distribution for the counselling process is as follows:

Government Medical College, Palakkad and Government Medical College, Kollam will follow separate reservation arrangements as specified in the relevant government orders.

KEAM MBBS/BDS Fee Structure

Government Medical Colleges

• MBBS: ₹23,150
• BDS: ₹20,840

Self-Financing Medical Colleges

• General category: approximately ₹8.1 lakh to ₹9.3 lakh
• NRI quota: approximately ₹21.65 lakh to ₹22.74 lakh

Self-Financing Dental Colleges

• General category: ₹3,47,487
• NRI quota: ₹6,30,000

At Pushpagiri College of Dental Science, Thiruvalla, the applicable fees are ₹3,67,502 for the General category and ₹6,66,288 for NRI candidates.

Fees for self-financing institutions are provisional and may change based on final government orders, Fee Regulatory Committee decisions or court directions.

Option Registration Fee

Candidates are required to pay ₹5,000 as the option registration fee. Eligible SC/ST/OEC candidates and beneficiaries covered under specified government orders need to pay ₹500.

The registration fee will be:

• Adjusted against tuition fees for candidates allotted seats in government colleges.
• Refunded if the candidate does not receive an allotment.
• Refunded after the admission closing date for candidates allotted seats in self-financing colleges, subject to joining the allotted institution.

Candidates who fail to join within the prescribed deadline or leave the course after admission may forfeit the registration fee.

Important Instructions

Candidates are advised to enter all preferred college and course options during the current registration window, as fresh option registration may not be available in subsequent phases unless new colleges are added.

Candidates who fail to join an allotted college within the stipulated deadline will lose the allotment and may not be considered for subsequent centralised allotments.

Candidates whose ranks are currently withheld can also register their options. However, their options will be considered for allotment only if the relevant defects are cleared and their rank is released before 3:00 PM on 19 August 2026.
