The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has announced a revised schedule for the First Phase State Counselling for MBBS/BDS admissions under KEAM 2026. As per the notification issued on August 20, 2026, the option registration, provisional allotment, final allotment and admission timelines have been revised following changes in the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) schedule.

KEAM 2026 Revised First Phase Counselling Schedule

Candidates who have not yet registered their options can participate within the revised deadline. Those who have already submitted their options can also rearrange or delete existing choices through the candidate portal, wherever applicable.

PIMS Palakkad and 15% AIQ Dental Seats Added

CEE Kerala has opened the option registration facility for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in self-financing dental colleges, irrespective of domicile. The Palakkad Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Palakkad has also been included in the current phase of MBBS allotment.

The provisional annual fee for PIMS Palakkad is:

• General Category: ₹8,98,800 per year
• NRI Category: ₹21,65,720 per year

Withheld Result Candidates Can Register Options

Candidates whose KEAM 2026 results are currently withheld can also submit their online options. However, their choices will be considered for allotment only if they resolve the pending defects and have their rank released by August 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

NRI Quota Document Correction Deadline

CEE Kerala has separately provided an opportunity for KEAM 2026 NRI Quota candidates to verify their claims and correct defects in uploaded documents. The correction facility will remain available until August 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Candidates can log in to the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal using their Application Number and Password and check the “Memo Details” section on their profile to identify any pending defects. CEE has advised candidates not to send printouts of documents or certificates to its office for reservation or other claims.
