The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has issued revised schedules for CAP Round 3 of admissions to BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses for the Academic Year 2026-27. Two notices dated 27 October 2026 cover the State (Group B) seats and the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats.

Why the Schedule Was Revised

The CET Cell said that Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, informed it by letter dated 26 October 2026 that a few colleges have been permitted to participate in the admission process for 2026-27. For the Group B seats, the Directorate of AYUSH also conveyed this, in a letter dated 27 October 2026. The schedules were revised in view of this.

Group B (State Seats): Notice No. 29

The revised schedule for CAP Round 3 for Group B (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) courses is:

• Online preference (choice) filling: extended up to 29 October 2026, 12:00 noon
• Declaration of CAP Round 3 selection list: 30 October 2026
• Physical joining and filling of status retention form with all original documents and requisite fees by DD/cheque: 31 October 2026 to 4 November 2026, up to 5:30 PM

Candidates who have joined status up to CAP Round 2 in the AIQ rounds of State and Central counselling, and who are allotted a seat in CAP Round 3 of AIQ (State and Central), will be weeded out from the selection list, even if they have filled their choices.

The schedule for subsequent stray vacancy rounds will be declared later.

15% AIQ Seats in Private Unaided/Minority Colleges: Notice No. 02

The revised schedule for CAP Round 3 for the 15% AIQ seats is:

• Online preference (choice) filling: 28 October 2026, up to 11:59 PM
• Declaration of CAP Round 3 selection list: 30 October 2026
• Physical joining to the selected college: 31 October 2026 to 4 November 2026, up to 5:30 PM. Cheques may be accepted on bank holidays, to be replaced by DD on the next working day.
• Last date of resignation of CAP Round 3 seats, with forfeiture of security deposit: 4 November 2026, up to 5:30 PM. No cancellation will be allowed after this date.

The names of candidates who have joined up to 4 November 2026 will be shared with AACCC, to disqualify them from further counselling of AIQ and all states.

Instructions for Candidates

• Candidates who have already submitted preferences and want to make changes can unlock their preferences through their login and make the changes within the prescribed time limit.
• There is no change in the other instructions of Notice No. 20 dated 5 October 2026 (Group B) and Notice No. 01 dated 14 September 2026 (15% AIQ).
• Both schedules are subject to change as per directions from authorities such as MCC, AACCC, the Central Government, the State Government and the Hon’ble Court.
