The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Government of Maharashtra, has released the Common Provisional Merit List for BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses (Group B) based on NEET UG 2026. Both the merit list and the registered candidate list carry the date October 20, 2026.

Key highlights

• Merit list: The Common Provisional Merit List for BAMS/BHMS/BUMS (Group B) runs to 801 pages and ranks 33,811 candidates.
• Registered candidates: The Common Registered Candidate List runs to 891 pages and has 33,824 candidates. This is the 33,811 ranked candidates plus 13 candidates marked “Not Eligible”.
• Top of the list: The first rank in the merit list goes to a candidate with NEET All India Rank 217. The second is NEET AIR 412.
• Candidature types: The list covers both State candidates and Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates, along with NRI and converted-category cases.

What the merit list shows

For each candidate the list gives:

• merit serial number
• NEET All India Rank and NEET roll number
• CET Cell online form number
• name and gender
• category and NRI status
• specified reservation
• candidature type (State or OMS)
• remarks

Candidates marked “Not Eligible”

The 13 candidates marked Not Eligible are listed at the end of the registered candidate list, and they appear without a merit serial number. The remarks against them include “Invalid Domicile”, “Invalid NCL” and “Invalid EWS”. Some of these candidates have a converted category.

Important conditions in the lists

• NRI candidates are subject to approval from the Appropriate Reservation Authority (ARA).
• PwD candidates are subject to eligibility from a Medical Board.
• Constitutional and specified reservation admissions are subject to submission of documents.
• Course-wise eligibility is as per the NEET UG 2026 Information Brochure.
• The provisional merit list is based on the information in the candidate’s registration form and the e-verification of uploaded documents.
• Admission takes place only after verification of original certificates at the admitting college.
• The benefit of reservation is available only on production and successful verification of the required documents.
