The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra has released the Provisional Selection List for the Online Stray Vacancy Round 1 of MBBS/BDS admissions under NEET UG 2026-27. The CET Cell has also published a separate list of candidates rejected for not uploading and submitting documents within the scheduled time.

Joining and reporting deadlines

• Last date of joining the allotted college: October 21, 2026, up to 5:30 PM
• Last date to fill the Status Retention Form at the college: October 21, 2026, up to 5:30 PM

Provisional Selection List highlights

• The list runs to 603 pages and covers 20,339 candidates.
• 11,313 candidates have a college shown against their name. This includes candidates whose seat is marked as retained and those with a new selection in this round.
• 8,912 candidates are shown as “Choice Not Available”, which means no seat was allotted to them in this round.
• Some candidates carry a “Disqualified” remark, such as “Joined by MCC” or “Allotted by MCC in Stray Round”.
• The first entry in the list is NEET AIR 974, retained at GSMC Mumbai.
• The list shows quota details such as Institute Quota (I.Q.), AIQ (Private University) and cases converted from NRI. It also shows categories such as OBC, VJA, NTB, NTC, NTD, EWS and PwD.

List of rejected candidates

• The list covers 309 candidates who did not upload and submit their documents within the time period set in the NEET UG 2026 schedule.
• It is dated October 20, 2026 and runs to 7 pages.
• It gives each candidate’s NEET AIR, NEET roll number, CET Cell form number, gender, category, NRI status and specified reservation.

Important instructions for selected candidates

• The admitting institute will verify the original documents and check eligibility as per the NEET UG 2026 brochure.
• The list is provisional. Admission is confirmed only after verification and submission of original documents as per the candidate’s claim.
• Candidates must submit all original documents and pay the required fees at the selected college within the stipulated time. If they do not, the selection stands cancelled.
• Seat allotment is on seats approved or permitted by MCI/NMC/DCI.
• Candidates with the Retained status must also fill the Status Retention Form at the college by the deadline.

Candidates should check the list for their name and college code, and report to the allotted college before 5:30 PM on October 21, 2026.
